Vacation is over

We've been in sunny and stormy Florida for the past week and a half on a lovely vacation. I found a new trick that worked really well. I took my hanging flower pots and put them into a baby pool filled with water. When we returned from our vacation, the flowers in the pool looked wonderful! The flowers that were not in the pool weren't so lucky. :(

I have a lot of projects planned for the near future. I am going to make a little jacket for a sleeveless dress I bought to wear at a wedding, I need to make something for a baby shower, I am going to make a cute cow shopping cart cover for my little girl, and this week I am going to teach Emily how to make a dress for herself. The dress that Emily is going to make is the golden goddess gown that I saw on the 'Adventures from the Sewing Studio (Sharon Sews)' blog. The dress design looks really quick and simple and I just can't wait to help her make it! Pin It Now!
